Flagstone & Pavers in the Lehigh Valley, PA

Flagstone and paver walkways, patios and hardscape — laid tight, drained properly, built to age well.

About This Service

Period-correct craftsmanship, done right the first time.

Flagstone and pavers do the heavy lifting of a beautiful yard — walkways, patios, garden paths and pool surrounds. Rome Masonry lays flagstone both wet (mortared to a slab) and dry (set in a compacted stone base), and installs concrete and natural stone pavers with the base prep and edge restraint that keep them from shifting. The look is timeless; the underneath is engineered.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Have a different question? Call (484) 515-7989 — Matthew answers the phone.

Dry-lay or wet-lay flagstone?+
Dry-lay (on compacted stone) reads more natural and is easier to repair. Wet-lay (mortared to a concrete slab) is more permanent and best for high-traffic or formal areas. We do both.
How long do pavers last?+
Properly installed pavers last 25–50+ years. Individual pavers can be lifted and reset for stains or utility work — a huge advantage over poured concrete.
Do you seal flagstone and pavers?+
We recommend it. Sealing enhances color, resists stains and locks polymeric sand into the joints. We can seal at install and re-seal every few years as maintenance.
Can you match flagstone to my existing patio?+
Usually. We source from regional quarries and can match color, thickness and texture on additions and repairs.
